Dear Kaching, I have been using shoppersstop for the past 2 years and I am their gold category member. Free parking comes with the membership and I am availing that facility without buying the citibank card. If you have not taken the card, you can very well talk to the citibank about showing your... transactions on the card. I had a similar case with Axis bank last year in which they had charged me 2000 Rs including the penalty costs. I wrote to the MD and within 24 hrs my card was deactivated and all charges reversed. Also you can very well go to the ombudsman and RBI for such malpractices. Consumer court too will hear you out on this and can penalise the bank for such malpractices and compensate you for your mental harassment and time and energy wasted on fighting such baseless arguments.
