2. Why have your rated a 4 star?
3. How can the reliability be so high when you experienced the worst?

Regarding the pick up, I would like share the knowledge that I have acquired after going through 'how i-vtec works' threads and from my personal experiments with my Honda City. The i-vtec does have a poor lower end, but a superbly stronger middle and upper end. Do this in an empty stretch of road wh...ich you feel is safer. Keep the car in 2nd gear, and accelerate past 4000 rpm, then you could experience the vtec kick and the sweet engine sound (sporty). The car reaches triple digit speeds in no time and you would be spell bound by the pick up of the car.
People need to understand how a particular technology is expected to work before commenting on the same. So yes, i-vtec engines have a poor lower end, but after 2000 rpm one can expect to get better pickup. So my kind plead to everybody who have issue with their Honda's poor lower end, try the 2nd gear thing I mentioned above and experience the technology that Honda has used in their i-vtec engines.

How much kilometers have you covered till now??? 700k kms (not at all possible in 2.5 years by a private owner), or 70k kms(which is also terrific) or 7k (this is to the lower side).

And we all should understand one thing 'Manufacturers are here to meet demand'. So Indians who asks 'kitna deti hain' even for a rocket are here to be blamed. Maruti came with the policy of bloody 'kitna deti hain' and they still lead in the market with the same policy. 18000/month sale for dezire i...s too much for that crappy alien car. And only a Indian can love a dezire because it is from Maruti. Even after being the leading manufacturer for such a long time, the dump maruti engineers failed to come up a own diesel engine and still living at the mercy of Fiat sourced engines. This is so so so pathetic. But for all these, the Indian mentality 'fuel efficiency is the sole thing that makes a car' is to be blamed.Read More

It depends buddy. I am using 2014 Honda City for last one year, travelled 18000 kms till now. I got bridgestone tyres which are good. You are right on Good year tyres, they are pathetic. One should be lucky to get the only ' real low rolling resistance' tyres ie. from Michelin. Every company is doin...g these things for cost cutting. I would suggest you to buy new set of Michelin tyres and have a happy ride there after.Read More

The fuel economy completely depends on the driving style. I own a Honda City SV MT petrol. I am getting 15.5km/l average comprising of city and somewhat highway roads in Kerala. Once I got 23.5km/l as per MID, driving with a very light foot. So adapt your driving style with the i-vtec engine and you... will be surprised. Just google how i-vtec engine works and understand the same and adjust your driving skills.Read More

1. You have not mentioned if your car is petrol or diesel.
2. Its anti lock braking system, not anti braking system.
3. Even the top most variant of Honda City has maximum 2 airbags not 4.
4. Pick up and drop facility is provided by the dealer not the company.
So it feels that either ...you don't own a Honda City or you don't know what all features your car actually has.

How can someone love the new City when it has lot of cost cuttings?? Terrible panel gaps, pathetic plastc quality, blutooth issues in the lower models, alternator belt issues in petrol engines, pathetically thin body panels and all these at a premium rate. Honda is not reliable anymore.

@sambitjena22: I liked the heading 'Testing of patience', and the copy paste stuff you mentioned about mouthshut customer service. But I feel, the same applies to you as well. The sort of reviews you have posted about almost all cars are 'very much like' the official reviews by different automobile ...review websites. Please don't be pathetic rather be authentic.Read More
