Monoo Mrityunjay is a perfect example of state of contemporary society, where class and caste ride roughshod over innate worth; where the most intimate ties are denied for the sake of conformity with social norms. This is the line which had struck me from a book review which I read before buyi...ng the book... When I read the book I was zapped!!! especially in instances where Karna finds himself torn between his morals, his identity as a sun disciple and an injured ego. His conversation with himself is remarkable where he wants to save Draupadi but on the other hand keeps reminding himself of the insult borne by him. In his anger he calls her a harlot, and then repents it his whole life..... Sample this again from a book review I read Unsheathe the dark sword Draupadi from the scabbard of her clothes, she has been dangling all this while on the hips of the impotent Pandavas. Like the shrieking of a flock of parrots fluttering out of their tree-holes these words emerged scattering in a flurry of green feathers... I lifted the plate of my years- long neglect, filled with the flaming embers of revenge and emptied it on Draupadi's proud head Thanks Bro for finally reading this and reviewing it....I knew that this is how your review will look, because this is such a book to get such a reaction.... Thanks Sidd Read More

Kya Re Monoo Jab bhi MS on karo home page par dikh jaate ho...huh..speak about some people always trying to be in limelight... Waise lovely review and more than that I was wondering about people's reaction on this topic. Can see that is usual and predictive. Will catch a night show today for ...this...maybe I will review it too...looks like a hot topic! Milk yeah, have seen too, it would be a day in Indian cinema when they come up with a movie like Milk Chaaye Raho, bas hume mat bhul jaana limelight main SiddRead More

Sajith Jee That was quite an account of goof ups you mentioned. But then when things like kid falling into the Sh*tor the grisly incident related to darshan do ghanshyam is taken into account, these goof ups become too ordinary That was a great write up Sidd

Bhupesh Bhai When they show gruesome act like the kid jumping in a sh*t pool or the eyes being scooped out, who cares for such goof ups... I mean you do notice but yet you will never remember it much.... Anyways now once its nominated by Oscars, do you think anything else matters... Than...ks SiddRead More

Bhupesh Bhai So I can see a great review in making already, Hmm thats true but somehow I find that the International acclode comes only to the darker side of India. I somehow feel that they enjoy seeing the worst side... Thanks Sidd

Sonia Jee No doubt that this Album is very promising and somehow has a typical Chandani Chowk and Delhi kind of touch in it. What you say is a rustic urbane music....but I am busy with Ringa nowadays...and of course Emosanal Atyachar That was an excellent review, Sidd

So this becomes an established fact that what sells is the worst face of India. After White Tiger being accredited with Booker, Slumdog Millionaire joins the line. Of course for the crude realities and that face of India which none have ever dared to show, or if they did also probably the magica...Read more

Bhai I am proud of the fact that I belong to the sensible category of Cinegoer. I have started eradicating the mindless ones from my list and never fall for glam-sham anymore. Last I saw in this category was Fashion and just realised that even Madhur is going the other way. For me I would anyd...ay prefer Dasvidaniya, Dil Kabbadi, Sorry Bhai to Race, Jodha Akbar and Tashan. In fact this year I found juvenile cinema like Roadside romeo even much better than any of these put together. I could see a lot of efforts there... With the reaction which I have noticed as of now around me for Rab Ne.....I am surely giving it a miss... That was an excellent write up Boss... To Bollywood! SiddRead More
