For this long weekend me and my wife decided to visit yelagiri since we wanted to run away from bangalore's pollution and traffic.. YELAGIRI is the best place for the techies to relax..the drive was awesome, lush green, since it had rained just 2 days before we went.

If u plan to spend ur Weekend at Yelagiri Hills then we will never recommend Rainbow Resort. They just say for the sake of saying that they provide Quality service and home made food. but in our recent stay at Rainbow Resort we had to request to get lunch 10 times which was finally ordered from some... other restaurant.. probably thats what they call 'home made food' No facility for hot water in the room, no trash cans, no toilet soaps and sofa set without sofa covers... they Have given the name as Rainbow Resort INTERNATIONAL..probably just to charge 1000 Rs from our pocket n the rooms are not worth even 500 Rs, service is too bad and more over they charge 10 Rs per tea at a place like Yelagiri....%0d%0awell there are many good and Cheaper place in yelagiri to stay who will actually give u QUALITY ROOMS N SERVICE.. but Rainbow resort ( its not a resort ) is not the right place ....
