I stay in US and have an iPhone from AT&T.
Frankly this is not worth.......... get a blackberry curve instead.. i use it and love its light weight and querty keyboard and enhanced features.
iPhone is sheer hype .. even in US... and yes u r right.. we pay arnd 2500+ for basic monthly charges..

Another Info World richest Man and Microsoft Co-founder had similar experience with his own company that too the Richmond office... Gates later wrote in a daily that his user experience with microsoft.com is horrible. I guess these big companies loose track on mundane activities.

hi usabaski,
i havent faced any power windows issue with esteem so far. anyway esteem with its low maintainence and mechanical correction costs can easily be rectified, in case the issue props up one day... guess how much it costs for the same in case of Ford cars!!!!

hi kewlanant, corporate discount means the folks working in corps like IBM, infy, wipro, tcs, etc who actually give good business to Maruti get an additional discount. You can check with the Maruti showroom near you to get a list of registered corps. Hope this helps

Whatever you felt about this place is correct. I am an IT professional working here for the past 6 months. I have worked in Hyd, Bangalore and Abroad for quite some time. The worst thing i feel abt this place is 'People over here are just nuts..they dont care abt u or ur self esteem', if u have a la...dy with you, be extra cautious after 8 PM.

Well i agree on a lot of points other than the conceptual view on OS. Note that Google (As a WebPage /Portal) or Google Apps need OS to run on. They have not come out with a OS yet..(Which has a kernel to support functions). So google depends heavily on OS and OS enhancements.
I see google catchi...ng the market in Software Dept... but when it comes to beating the OS (Windows), its way behind. MS has got ways to address OS promotions/escalations/enhancements. And Without OS (Windows/Linus, etc), Google has no entity.

Great to see you with a write-up on one of the hottest topics in the south. I have worked in Bangalore for a long time. You must have found something.. bangalore is famous for 2 things.. Software Engineers (especially Infosians) and Dogs..
People in Kormangala area used to say that if y...ou throw a stone, it shall hit an Infosian or a Dog.. now thats a Silicon valey truly.
I had a lovely time in Koramangala. Places to visit .. Forum Mall (Life is at its youngest and brightest here), Globus Shop, Raheja Apartments (Start from 1.5 Cr onwards), Pubs on the 100 Ft Road.
And yes Abha, if you face problems finding a food joint post 11.30 PM (as u raised a concern in ur review).. hit Hotel Imperial on 100 Ft road, Koramangala. Be prepared for a nice food till 2 PM. A pan shop next to it Serves wonderful 'meetha Pan' till 2 AM. Delight yourself sometimes with it.
I used to miss bangalore and its weather whether i was in India or Abroad. Now currently sitting in Delhi .. i feel .. life at Infosys (with modest pay) and hangouts with buddies were the most memorable part of my life.
I wish you a long and happy stay at Bangalore.
