update about the addon package i have mentioned in the review: As I have told I cancelled the addon package as soon as I got it. Next year they renewed the addon package(the one which was cancelled) without my permission. They were saying that I asked to cancel, but never asked to cancel the renewa...l... Have you ever heard such a thing in your entire life?? Then I had to cancel the card again and told them that I am not going to pay a single penny this time. They kept on adding money on my cancelled credit card and added default payment also... it came till 3500Rs and I contacted their email support as I heard that an NRI was arrested at airport when he came back to India as there was some confusion in his payments and he went abroad for a long time. During this time the credit card company kept on adding interest and filed a case against him. Court had summoned him and since he was not in India, he never knew about it and the court gave an arrest warrant against him. So i thought about sorting this issue and after one month of sending several emails, they asked me to pay 2000Rs to settle the amount. I again told them that I am not paying a single penny and sent them the old statements which shows that I had cancelled the addon card in 2009. Then some higher level officer mailed me that they will completely clear my account and I dont have to pay anything by December 2010. so my message is very clear, never take Manhattan card and if u have a Manhattan card, never take their add on package.Read More

@Ram666 - its always better to keep away from credit cards. If you really want one, go for HDFC or HSBC. I've had good experience with both these cards. I have been using them for the past 6 years and havent had any problems with these. Manhattan sucks big time, never go for them.

And you know the funny part, I called up the guy who sold me this to tell them that all the features that he explained to me had some conditions/catch or the other and he told me 'Sir, you should know that every feature will come with a catch. Its not only ICICI. All ULIPS are like this. Normally 80% of working clas who takes insurance dont know the difference between ULIP and Insurance.
