dear sonicman........first of all.....it seems that u are from TVS company. if ever u can find out or u are able to trace the vehicle.......the regn no is DL3SAS 9097. Regd in the name of Sushant Nirmal(myself) at Sheihksarai Transport Authority in delhi. I am sure that u do not read the newspapers ...else u would have blabbered all that that u have done in 3 parts. And i am sure that u do not even go thru the websites which mention the roadtests. Everywebsite has mentioned the problems that i have mentioned. I really pity your sense of understanding. I really fail to understand as to why do u expect everyone to sing praises in the product review sections. Honda, yamaha etc never fear TVS. They know that a company whcih manufactures only for racetracks will never succeed on the real road scenario. I am sure that u do not own a racetrack in your house. If u r so patriotric, wear khadi and u should swear by the name of god that you will never use any product that is made in collaboration with foreign companies. Not even a c..n..m. Do not misguide aother..........if u need some more information.....you can call me on 9910153772Read More

Dear Amit & Modak.......i understand that the comparison should be apple to apple. I have just compared the engine refindness and clutch and gear shift operations. I cannot compare the performance. Regarding the query of amit....plz note that there is only TVS in 180 segment. But my advise is that u... keep away from TVS products for various reasons. Secondly, Yamaha does not have proper service network in india. It will take them another 3-4 years to come to a level like that of Hero Honda. Pulsar 180 is a bike for matured ones and not for the persons who like to start racing from morning 7 AM to 10 PM in night. But rather for them who drive sensibily. If u can, then go for this bike. Modak...........do not worry......if ever we happen to meet after 2 years, then also you will find my bike in the same mint condition.Read More

Owned a TVS apache previously and driven that just for 19300 kms and finally decided to sell that piece of junk. U can read my review about the same on the TVS bikes section of apache 150CC. Must say that it was the worst bike ever made in Indian history by an Indian company. The Front portion r...Read more

dear vikram..yes agreed that RTR does not have any such problems, but again the availability os spares and their cost is a big challenge. There is a saying that sales is a one time affair and servie a long time affair. TVS service guys know nothing about the service and morover the engine components ...are changed very frequently during the introduction of any new product. The main problem that u face is after some time-1-2 years you are left with no option but to sell and buy a new product. This is not the case with bajaj or Hero Honda who have maintained the same engine parts from the time they launched their products in india. Boyzone.....if u go by my personal opinion, i love TATA indica or any other Tata product but my commenting on TATA is about the level of after sales service provided by all the TATA dealerships. Without listening to the problems they start making excuses and never provide proper service. In that case the customer is left to his own. This is not the type of treatment a customer of repute will take at any cost. This is a typical taxiwala treatment. Go thru any of the reviews on tata motors-any vehicle on mouthshut.com and then see the Customer satisfaction level. The reviews are written by the normal users and not the taxiwalas. This makes me classify them as typical TAXIWALA COMPANY. And the conditions are the same at both TVS and TATA motors, no matter how much you shout, they will have one excuse or the other. Ultimately, the choice is yours. Peace of mind or anything else.Read More

dear sambit, .........gthe main problem with TVS is that they change the models very frequently and the spares are always in short supply at any ASC. The spares are more costly. And last but not the least, TVS bikes have no resale value. Any hero honda or bajaj will fetch you some really good price.

dear raj.......i have bought a pulsar 180 UG-IV. It is nice.......has good pickup and no problems at all. Moreover getting a milage of 45-48 kmpl. Done 1300 kms till now. No sound, no vibrations and sometimes i have to listen very carefully to check the engine running. the Gear shift is butter smoot...h and bike is extremely flickable around corners. Gives superb confidence while riding. But while buying one, test drive at least 5 times and check the wheels for any misalignment and any noise from the engineRead More
