My dealer took payment only after showing me my vehicle & delivered it next day( Having same engine & chasis no. of yhe vehicle marked in my name. PLs check in your locality. though it is advisable to pay the money only after seeing the vehicle. 1-2 days for dly are enough as this is needed for PDI,... battery charging, accessory fitting(If u opt for) etc. not beyond that.Read More

You have posted a decent review. You are absolutely right in your observations but I'd like to add that pointing out areas requiring improvement is not always cribbing. If one can pay around 8.5 lacs for this, one can easily pay 10-20 k extra for better rubber quality & a little better fit & finish ...which is not going to harm TATA at all. Instead it will only add to its already growing reputation of a worldclass vehicle manufaturer. I'd like to addd that I am owning Sumo grande since last 2.5 months & service has left a lot to be desired. Whatever the price, one is supposed to get a good after sales service but my experience so far has left a lot to be desired. Also, driving experience so far has not been great. I have faced quite a few problems so far, major one being stalling three times during a trip from Pune to Mumbai to which dealer refused to attend. Erratic working of A/C, hard gearshift & minor problems like erratic working of Door Open Indicator, Non working Passenger side door handle from inside, Missing rooftop beading etc which should have been attended to but have not been so far. Also mileage I am getting is less than 10 kmpl. To top it all, on the third day of getting the vehicle, alignment problem croppped up & resulted in 1/4 th of tyres wearing out during a 100 kms journey which is totally inexplicable. It is not going to harm tata at all if they address these issues. Despite al this, I remain commited TATA customer & hope they pay heed to their customers.Read More
