I love Vishal Bharadwaj's movies but sometimes fear to admit it 'cause most people I know say that he lacks that lil extra something. Blue Umbrella like Omkara has a slow build up and moderate energy (am refering to the basic fundas of movie making). Vishal is also criticised for his cliched stylisi...ng of scene transitions. But on the whole I loved Blue Umbrella! It was such a refreshing movie. Pankaj Kapur is brilliant. You cant but help empathise his action. He has blended crude and naive beautifully. Clearly he stands out in the movie. As far as the other actors, they pitched in well. I must admit though, that the movie falls short of being brilliant.Read More

Torcan, the place near busstop is Hotel Lakshmi, supposedly a clean vegetarian place. Our experience was otherwise. :-) Still...nothing can take away the beauty of Coonoor..
