I am not sure the points your are trying to make. The unbalanced makeup of an actor does have an effect on the viewers especially if it seems like a bad job at makeup and/or the actress looks like shes a hypocrite. If she is dark then why make the face white. Or make the neck white too. Aestheticall...y its doesnt look nice. If I was that dark I would look homogenous colour wise.
If Indian people want a baby boy, fair enough, but films send a social message, which is protect the girl baby. You seem to be confirming what I was saying that crimes against the female child must be stopped and that films are a powerful medium for advertising that the girl child is vulnerable. My point was a film should not have the hero saying ladka hi hoga mujhe pyaar peh confidence hai.
The same social message was my point of alcohol misuse in the movie. Just like smoking should not be allowed for stars whose audience may find their bad habit glorified and may take it up themselves. Similalry alcohol abuse, and u have to admit ajay devgan drinks heavily in the film, gives the wrong message to the younger minds. Drink 24 drinks (enough to kill a horse) before finding the courage to say I love u. I mean thats just a bad message. Ofocurse alcohol is everywhere but the hero of the film should not drink or smoke.
Remakes or rip offs, the point is the Devgans denied either. They should have admitted that its a remake. Why did they say its original?
Actually I am a doctor and I know that Alzheimers is a disease of the elderly. Its onset before the age of 50 is virtually nil. Also as alzheimers is a progressive dementia (madness) Kajol should at the least been shown to have suffering from madness from the early parts of the film.

Overall this movie does not disappoint. Sure the script is a bit too far fetched and technically implausible(why would a female doctor be allowed to take mentally disaled men alone pn a long car journey) but if you look past that, its pretty engaging.
Daboo, the self inflicted mute, is annoyi...Read more
