Hi again again ;-) I still believe the pricing/native content availability(ie real 1080p will take some time...true 1080p content blu-ray players and blue ray DVDs without need of any upscaling will require some decent time to come up in India..So why pay to see an upscaled content? I understand t...hat this upscaled content will be having much better details than the normal 1s ..but still considering the current pricing/maturity of HD technology in India not all ppl will be ready to adapt this...I think ppl who want to buy HD will rather like to buy true HD and not just HD ready...I was just trying to say for ppl who want entertainment on a big screen TV in their homes at cheaper prices with decent picture/great sound quality...they can go for it...Also IPL is just a few hours away...so if one wants to watch on a 34 inch TV at his home without shedding major bucks ;-)...this is my suggestion ....Also technically speaking the normal cable content is SD & interlaced & all LCD TVs are progressive my nature(default) and due to this you might end up observing some artefacts if you don't have a high quality deinterlacer built into the TV...Also the normal content is SD NTSC or PAL, which needs to be upscaled to native resolution of LCD panel which may also result in some artefacts..Read More

Thanks yaar. Agree with u to some extent ;-). Even if u buy HDTV, which service/channel provider is broadcasting HD content today? In US I have heard -fox sports in 720p, i have heard discovery HD in 1080i... In India do we have the HD content at such levels?...I feel HD is just beginning in India......May be ur statement may become true after 3-4 years when we have all the channels/service providers delivering HD content, HD players like blu ray easily/cheaply available with Blu Ray DVDs...For all that to happen it will take some decent time...Its not only the question of the content but also the current pricing..its too high...Till then buy this at 13K & enjoy big screen effect at small price ;-)Read More

I was looking to buy a 32 inch LCD TV and what else would be a good time to buy than a new year where you will have offers floating. When I went to the shop, I noticed this Jumbo. I was really impressed by its picture quality and of course the size. 34 inch TV! Imagine watching a day/night T20 o...Read more
