'.........For normal indian male hight ( i am 5.9’’) seat is bit hight.say 1 inch.so everytime i stop my bike in traffic, i balance the bike with one leg and the whole weight of bike ( 170 kg) falls on my leg.which is v bad. i am planning to reduce the seat hight for this reason.' -- This very st...atement of yrs tells me that u r still not comfortable with yr bullet. While I agree that the bullets have a lot of maintenance hazard, the weight of the bike is never a problem even for short riders. Good riders become one with the bullet and that's the most remarkable thing about this legend. I am 5' 7' and my electra 4S has 23,000 kms on the speedo. i often take it on long rides and by long i mean 400 kms a day rides in all kinds of terrain. There has never been even a small hic-up with the bull on those rides. I get a constant mileage between 35-40 km/L (my mechanic tested it and agreed). here are my understandings - 1. A bullet has nothing automatic about it. You need to adkust the settings manually to suit yr comfort. While u r not expected to correct the settings yrself, u have to tell the mechanic what u want. A bullet can feel soft or hard as per yr requirement. 2. You watch what yr mechanic does to yr bullet during services. Try to learn and understand the minute issues that cause 95% of the problems. 3. If yr mechanic is not serious about yr bullet, change him. 4. All kinds of issues with a bullet can be corrected permanently if u are able to understand the cause. 5. You want a two wheeler to take u from place to place, go by a hero honda splendor. Don't even think about a bullet or u'll end up insulting a legend. Cheers :)Read More

It’s advisable not to buy a bullet if you are thinking of comparing it to the other bikes in the market. If you plan to buy a good ...Read more
