Hi Sharath, If the dealer is not responding properly, my advice will be to go to another dealer in your city. If there is none, then I would advise you not to buy this car. I am a proud owner of Manza and am also happy with Tata customer service but would never consider buying anything if the dealer.../shopkeeper is not interested right from the begining :-(. You can find tata motors customer care contacts at http://customercare.tatamotors.com/contact/reachUs.asp Best of luck !!!Read More

Hi sjain13, I own a Manza Quadrajet and have done 7300kms so far. I confirm that there is no wobbling/wavering at all. Also there is no degradation in performance or any other issue in the car that I have faced so far. If you value comfort over performance, I would recommend the diesel Manza for ...a budget between 7-15lakh(no typo here :-)). Best of luck with your car purchase!!!Read More

Hi Sandeep, Yes prices have gone up quite a bit due to budget and Tata Motors is also charging more for BS4 compliant models. I was really lucky to have purchased just before the price rise. Please do check out the link I provided in my previous post though for the insurance. I think it should gi...ve you a relief of around 7-8K. For the dealerships, I did find the guys at Concorde to have an edge over Prerana and KHT in terms of technical knowledge of the car, but at the same time they are also very busy since they have a lot more volumes to deal with. Notably KHT was the only dealer that actually got the car to my place(~10kms away) for me to check if it fits in my parking lot :-). Best of luck with your purchase!!!Read More

Hi gegonbones, I assume you are asking for the price. I got it for 7.33 on road with insurance purchased from http://www.policybazaar.com/car-insurance/car-insurance-india.aspx which saved me a whooping 8K. However these prices are before the tax hike in last budget and before the hike in prices for... BS IV. I think it is around 30K costlier now. I found Prerana and Concorde comparable. But for test drive, please go to Concorde(Dairy Circle) because Prerana(near Lalbagh) is surrounded by so much traffic that I really couldn't get any feel of the car during my first test drive. Best of luck !!!Read More

Thanks bluffmaster090 ! I got the vehicle from Prerana. Mileage didn't really improve much after 1st or 2nd service. For mileage, actually I am pretty satisfied with 14kmpl that I am currently getting in Bangalore city. Through several reviews for the Manza, I have read values between 11 to 16 for i...n-city mileage, so really don't know what would be a right baseline to compare. Of course, it'll further depend on the exact traffic situations while driven. Cheers!Read More

review continued.... Gearbox: Gears shifts are a little harder than the swift/dzire but precise. Clutch is okay. Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality: Ride quality is very good for the front seat occupants and pampering for the rear seat occupants. I am very jealous of persons occupying... the rear seats when I am driving the car. This car has the best back seat comfort this side of the Hyundai Sonata (~15+lakhs). I sat in the Skoda Laura and rear seat comfort was still a mark below the Manza. Potholes are smoothened out and no body roll unless you are racing the car around corners. Handling: Steering is so nice to use that you don’t really feel like you are driving a large car. But there are some minor steering corrections required on highways at speeds above 90kmph to keep the car in a straight line. Turning radius of 5.1m is pretty good compared to the huge dimensions of this car. Moreover, since the bonnet is small (aka Innova !), the car manages to turn in smaller spaces than one would imagine sitting in the driver’s seat. Most importantly, brakes are fantastic with the vehicle coming to a halt in a short distance without any side movement or rear losing ground contact. ABS is the icing on top. Final Verdict: Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this car and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a safe, comfortable, value-for-money sedan that is low on maintenance. Read More

15000kms update: Car is running fine with no issues at all and very low maintenance costs. Even on the busiest of Bangalore roads it have never returned a mileage of less than 13.1kmpl(with AC). Generally I get around 14.5 and got 15 a couple of times. On highways, it has returned between 16.8 a...Read more
