Second octane's. This review applies without any reservation to the S31SVND.
The dealer's side is murky though and Hitachi may not have spent time managing this critical front end. The dealer who sold me the S31SVND dispatched the showroom model, charged me the MRP, and argued that he had given m...e a new unopened unit. The Hitachi office in Bangalore has a couple of employees who seemed genuinely disturbed by my complaint but in the end they could do nothing about it. Needless to say, it was my mistake to have trusted the dealer -his focus is cashflow not the customer. Hitachi should open their own outlets like Panasonic has, the dealers don't understand the customers as well as the manufacturer does (it's the same problem with many other consumer durables today -the large scale market is helping middlemen fleece the consumers and the risk-averse manufacturers are losing control of their brands; is this unique to our country?).Read More

The product lives upto its claims, and is useful in a hard-water environment. Our water supply is from the public utility so the load on the filters is quite limited; the filters have served well for long duration.
My grouse is with Eureka Forbes' service management. Their outsourcing idea is...Read more

Jaidev, one could argue that it goes to the back of the beyond -the Vedas itself :-)
The collective has always been understood as a product of the individuals.
The loathe with the collective is when one or more former individuals begin to live off the collective -when that happens the corrup...ted collective has no option but to dissolve and reorganise a-gain --expensive to say the least because the trust would have reduced.
A collective is hard to come by, I think.Read More

rjoe_antony, why have you rated the review of the OMR Amaravathi as 'Not Useful'. The Amaravathi restaurant that you seem to have experienced is probably not related to the one which I reviewed, or even if it is the two restaurants/reviews ought not to be clubbed in the interest of fair commercialit...y.Read More

My experience with Airtel from the day (two years ago) I started with them has been one of quick service. Airtel makes use of the usage metrics to offer you better service and I like that part.
The connectivity is as claimed -10% of the speed you sign up for. They have a rather obtruse proces...Read more

The review does not seem objective; what was the author looking for in the restaurant and did he find it or not is the question/answer; everything else is irrelevant.

I think the value of MouthShut is in asking consumers to Not shut their mouths. There are as many consumers as there are persons. So the 'quality' is of a different league. In fact, the quality of MS is measurable by the number of reviews/consumers, and the publication of the identities of those co...nsumers. The more there are, and the better information I have of the reviewer's identity, the better decisions I can make of the product. Free market is a very tiring work; freedom comes at a high price, but we all like it.
>Look around! there are too many junk reviews rated useful)..
Given the review text and the reviewer's identity, it is very possible that a 'positive' review by that reviewer might well help me decide NOT to consume that product. In which case that review was very useful.

The essential point of my review is that the review is inconsequential. I understand The Fountainhead, and the objectivist philosophy as well, as that of non-secondrate living. To neither live one nor enable one (in another person). I cannot see my review as a 'chance to make others know...' I belie...ve it is for each person to know things for himself/herself...
Nonetheless, I congratulate you for according mine the role of a reminder :-) I guess that's about the best service one human can do for another.Read More
