@deb23: Honda services is better than bajaj services. these authorised bajaj service centres have put a dent on my bike. frustrated with this i now give it to a local garage. they are still way better. BAJAJ SERVICES IS NOT AT ALL GOOD.

Yeah sathya as I said it depends how u use your bike. its like strike rate of a batsman calculated from the no. of times he is out. my bro takes my bike seldom out of home. A breaking news: i got stuck in the ahmedabad monsoon three days successively in waterlogged areas. i went through around 25...-30 areas where the water level was more than 1 and half feet. Good lord my pulsar didn give up. no engine shutdowns, no problems, just rough escapes. it took me 3 and a half hours instead of 20mins to reach home. My dad took the unicorn and he was stuck twice. hehe. But we are living in extreme conditions in ahmedabad from 47C at summer to flooded city in rainy season. lets see what this winter tests of my pulsar. At end of the day do check the gears properly. my pulsu still gives me trouble from 2nd to 3rd gear transition.Read More

A very useful help, check your tool kit (should be provided with the bike) because I had made a similar trip and came across a puncture in the morning 8:30 caused by 6 inch sharp tool. So I had to drag my bike nearly 2kms to get it repaired. Its very painful. With the necessary tools, You can repair... it yourself. My friends have taught me how to. So check the tools thoroughly. You can also keep an extra tube with you. Change the oil near to 1200kms, if you haven't changed it since you bought it. And 'DO NOT FORGET A HELMET'. because accidents are never invited :)Read More

To Sathya, Yaar I dont think you are too young to understand the difference between vibration and sensation. Later is what I exactly meant. My pulsar is just 3 months young. I am sure you understand that it is sensation of riding a brand new pulsar. And to all I must say that 'My Own Elder Bro' ...has got a Unicorn. I have taken a test drive. It is giving an average of min 75. But yes, we brothers ride our bikes very calmly. The engine rev is never above 4k and never less than 3k while in running condition. We switch off our bikes in signals for more than 10sec clock remaining, and switch it off from a very long distance. We don't waste a single drop of fuel. Now as my monthly budget report, let me give you guys the stat from my petrol bill. It says 7.02 ltrs and the distance change in my bike display says 2444km from 1960. plz calculate yourself and tell me. And my brother's is even higher(and also calculated. But no record right now). Any other questions? do ask us. We will be free to guide you.Read More
