Dear Mr. SRNAIR. That is very true and I also intend to discontinue this service and as you have rightly said it is a matter of trust and we cannot be vigilant always! If I had not enquired with them they would not have credited the money and they have as a matter of fact without any regret acknowle...dged that indeed there was excess deduction. Of course it is a small amount but imagine they are making 100% margin on this - instead of 0.50 paise they had charged 1.00 rupee and multiplied by millions of customers how much they must be ripping off!!! They also indulge in sending innocent messages which by mistake if you press OK some stupid application gets activated and they deducted Rs 30 to Rs 40 straight away PER MONTH and we are not even aware that we had subscribed to this service and come to know when the deduction takes place. I do not know how much EXCESS charge they have deducted like this earlier and to obtain a statement we are supposed to pay them Rs. 50.00 (Rupees fifty only)!!! SUBSCRIBERS OF AIRTEL BEWARE OF THE INNOCENT MESSAGES AND PLEASE DO NOT PRESS OK AND DELETE SUCH MESSAGES IMMEDIATELY as well as take extra care regarding these EXCESS DEDUCTIONS which is tantamount to daylight robbery!!!
