yes, it is a good & stylish cdma handset: as mentioned, volume output is very low, especially when being used without the earphones. this needs to be improved.
and, the call ringer too could be enhanced in its volume as i feel it is low and difficult to hear.

yep, i totally agree with her review: it is a real beautiful place to go to for a holiday.
we were 9 members of our family who visited this resort at the end of last year: we reached on 24th dec (xmas eve) and checked out on 30th dec'08.
and it has been one of our best vacations - mind U w...e go every year end, either for xmas or new year and have been staying all across goa (mostly south goa).
the beauty of this place is that it is far from all the hustle bustle, way deep on the banks of the river and extremely well maintained with all modern facilities.
food is very good and reasonably priced and the room tariffs are a real surprise: very moderately priced. service is good though slow but then that’s the way goa is and come on, U are on a holiday!
both father and son, frank & elton caerio, are great hosts: always ready to help, relating stories and updating one with the local happenings. really nice people who are totally customer friendly.
we ate very authentic goan food and took boat rides into the sea to fish and see dolphins. lots of different stuff we did and our kids had a blast.
the important things anyone to remember whilst visiting this place is that a. it is very far from the main city and happening areas & 2. it is extremely important to have your own transportation.
we have decided to revisit this beautiful property again, soon.

yes, i agree that dishtv is not really informing its users the fine print and it does amount to a con job!
i have also faced a similar situation in the much hyped 'recharge free' scheme: purchased it on the basis of free movies & a-la-carte channel choice. reality was that the movies aired on m...ovie channels 1 to 4 are not available only 5 & 6 are which air, older english & hindi movies and regional movies. plus the a-la-carte is applicable on a single, one time choice to pick.
all this very cunningly, not detailed in their SRK ads and difficult to read in the very fine terms & conditions.
and, i would also like to request each customer, old and new, to please read and check the terms and conditions applicable before opting for this scheme.Read More

Quite an elaborate review: must add that me, my wife & daughter did stay here after Independence Day, last year (2 nights) and your review is fairly accurate vis-a-vis no intercom, no tv (nightmare when U have a kid along), pricing, no room service and okaish food. Added to it was the common are...a which was unkept. It is a nice, different place but can get better.Read More
