i agree with Rider1000 but not completely. I am not for banning cricket as India as a nation has achieved some status by playing this game. We may want to look at times when Bishen Singh Bedi,Chandrashekar,Kapil Dev represented india.Those days are gone where players used to play for country. I also... feel bad for other sports and at times i feel Hockey can compete with cricket in India but they just cannot win matches. I bet if they can compete with the likes of Australia,Korea and pakistan it will be remembered like cricket. Speaking about football i wonder if they can make it to world cup qualifying matches with the kind of talent they have. Probably some money directed to these sports might bring in the talent who knows. as an indian i only wish to see people representing india in hockey and foodball.Read More
