I visited this zoo last friday. Few things that i could like to comment upon.
- There aren't many animals in the zoo.
- Zoo does not have a forest like environmental setup, i found it to be more of concrete and metal.
- There is lots of space, but hardly any big trees. There are lots of plants , ...but no forest like vegetation.
- The birds area is worth seeing , and also the setup is good.
- Zoo could get an advice or two from Mysore Zoo, in terms of adoption policy. In the mysore zoo almost all the animals are adopted and you could see the difference in the way , the animals are kept and treated.
- Vandaloor zoo has lots of potential and space , but not used appropriately.
- Inside the zoo, you could rent bicycles and enjoy riding around the zoo.Read More
