Very usefull review Shrikanth. I have driven my i10 only 600 kms in the city in last one month but took an uphill drive on Sunday with 4 people and found the power lagging. I do not remember if I had to ever use the 1st gear in my old maruti 800 (1988 model) with four members seated on those steep ...inclines of a Fort on a hill called Sajjangarh but with i10 I had to once use 1st gear. Power steering was a great relief though. At times it drags even in 2nd gear and then gradually picks up. Its pick up is too bad in 3rd gear. I am yet to press the accelerator on a highway and see how it responds. The feeling in a fully loaded i10 would be as if its weight (almost one tonne) is too much to match the horsepower.Read More

Just because it has just been launched and simply gets lost in the crowd. As such the sales are low too as compared to that of Maruti's models. Wait and watch, you will start seeing more of i10's than Santro's. Indians do not experiment. Indians wait, watch, test and then invest their money to get i...ts true worth.Read More

That needs to be confirmed from Hyundai as the dealer could not clarify on this. But it is sure that the car has adequate safety features and in case of a head-on collision what is required is the safety of the passangers and not preventing the damage to the car. If the Car remains intact and passen...gers are hurt, who would want that kind of a car. So in case of accidents the engine collapses towards the bottom rather than hitting against the cabin. Always wear seat bealts, drive safe and forget about collisions.Read More

I was about to buy a Santro in Sept. but came to know that a new model of Hyundai is going to be launched around Diwali so decided to wait. I was also misinformed that Santro shall be discontinued as the model is almost 9 years old. Finally I bought an i10 Era in crystal white colour on 14th Feb...Read more
