I have shopped at SPAR bannerghatta road. I certainly observed one thing. Prices are on a higer side in comparision to local players like BigBazar, Reliance fresh, More . . .etc.
And especially my point holds good when you purchase goods like bedsheet, towel, loofah. Just to quote one experien...ce, I purchased one loofah with a price tag of Rs.140/-. Sure they would have got it for max about Rs.10 - Rs.20/- But selling price was Rs. 140/-. They are big time cheat coz the loofah got spolit in 2 days of use, which means they are not bothered on qulity check.
They are actually world's largest food retailer. So when you get something else other than food you will definitely be cheated. It's a bet. And coming to food even they do not give almost any margin. Wherever brands like BigBazar give some margin on internationally imported food item.
Another small example parking at BigBazar does not cost you anything whereas at Spar it costs per hour basis.
