That's really sad to hear - Here in America they cost LESS than Nike and Reebok - Perhaps that is to attract the market? I never see any adds on TV or in the newspaper for Skechers which I find odd! To my knowledge, there is no celebrity promoting this product! In my opinion, these sneakers last... much longer than Nike and Reebok and would be worth the cost if you really need durability and comfort as well as wide sizes. I have often wondered if the products sold in India are the SAME as manufactured in America! I have heard sometimes companies change the product to tailor the market.
