Reviewed Dell Inspiron 15 7572 Laptops

Cheated by Dell. I had purchased a Dell Inspiron 7572 on March 7, 2019, from the Dell.co.in website using a debit card-based transaction. The laptop was delivered at the end of March 2019. It was delivered with a manufacturing defect of the trackpad/touchpad raised above the palm rest area. H...Read more

But the same is true for Nokia as well. I remember buying a 5800 and I had a terrible time servicing the phone. Still don't condone buying a micromax just because the cost in low. Seeing all the negative reviews, it probably doesn't make sense.

Why aren't you filing a case against Nokia? The same thing is happened with me. The first 5800 that I purchased has a hardware manufacturing defect. It would reboot on its own. The handset with which they swapped it is giving the same problem as you have described - the only difference is that th li...nes are purple and I too am very careful with my phones. Nokia is dumping poor quality products in the Indian market. If consumers like us don't take action, these guys take us for granted. I wouldn't advise people to buy Nokia phones any longer, till they don't improve customer support and quality of their products.Read More

When I got my phone, I didn't experience any slowness. As far as the dirt and grime are concerned, get a screen guard put - it'll save the phone's screen from scratches at least. As far as customer support is concerned - it is truly shocking that a company like Nokia is shipping defective phones ...and not responding to customer complaints...I for one, will never buy a Nokia product for myself...Read More

Hi srikrishnan, Thanks for your query. Depending on where and when you purchased your Swift, you can write to Maruti Suzuki for a solution, else take up the matter with the dealership directly. The OEM supplier for seats to Maruti is Krishna Maruti. My Swift was taken to this company and they repl...aced the seat chassis, while retaining the fabric and sponge. Have you purchased the Zxi model? I ask because the sweaky sound was more pronounced when I raised the height of the seat. From my experience, the sweaky sound increases with time. From a harmless sweak, it over a couple of weeks became more pronounced - do have it checked thoroughly. Hope this helps.Read More

It’s high time that we start respecting each other’s religious and/or cultural beliefs. Whatever happened in the past is in the past – I think we should get past petty religious difference and celebrate both Hindu and Muslim unity and strength that has given shape to this wonderful country. Many atr...ocities were committed by the rulers of yore on the minority community (both Hindu and Muslim), because they believed they had the right to do so from God – how wrong they were. But equally wrong we will be, if we continue to highlight and not learn from the mistakes made by these people. They say hindsight is always 2020 – let’s practice it. Be it the Taj, or the Sun Temple of Konark – I am equally proud of both. The Taj and the Sun Temple are “Indian” beauties and like music knows no religion, nor do they. I feel the erstwhile Government of Uttar Pradesh did irreparable damage to the Taj – lets enjoy the time we have left with this magnificent structure, and the other structures that may not survive another 100 years!Read More

Hi thevic, Believe me, I have nothing against Maruti Suzuki and my review isn't about Maruti bashing at all. The point that I'm trying to make is very simple - I don't think Maruti Suzuki has quality as a priority when building cars - I do feel that they build cars to a price and at times, ignore f...it and finish in favor of price. I totally agree that the SX4 package is very inticing, however, I would suggest that you wait and watch the market feedback before you invest your hard earned money in this vehicle - exercise prudence instead of haste. As for being unfair - I stated my opinion after having test driven a car which has barely done 4000 kms. No matter how 'ill-treated' or badly driven a car is, the build quality should hold out against ill treatment, particularly things such as door panels, interior plastics. All the best.Read More

I own a Swift Zxi, purchased in Dec ’06 and I can confirm the rattling sounds are very much present in the Zxi as well. In fact, many of the problem in the Swift date back to the time it was launched in India with little or no enhancements and/or modification in recent memory. Even the service cente...r that I use, Vipul Motors in Gurgaon admitted to the problems ’’being a part’’ of the car. I really wish Maruti Suzuki would sit up and take notice. My confidence in their quality, service and support has taken a serious beating. I wouldn’t suggest/recommend any of their products. They just don’t cut it...Read More

Hi Dilsoft, Thanks for your comment and query on my review. To answer your question: Many auto magazines have commented on the Swift and SX4 sharing a platform - I would trust these magazines, since they get their information from reliable sources. Since they share the platform, basically transla...ting into sharing one or many of following features i.e., OEM providers, production line, materials, parts, fit and finish etc, after driving the SX4 which had barely done 4000km the conclusion, I drew is that no matter how a vehicle is driven (except in rally conditions), it defies logic how the panels could start rattling. Secondly, all drives are in the presence of a person/s from the dealership who would watch over the prospective buyer during the test drive. I too have used a Maruti 800 for 6 years without a problem and sold it after it had a done 1.5 lac KMS. This too defies logic - when a basic, barebones car can survive that long, costlier cars such as the Swift and SX4 should be more durable - wouldn’t you agree? Many of us tend to ignore fit and finish as an important aspect of buying a vehicle - for example, the sound of a door closing with windows rolled up and down. An SX4 at 7.3 lac on road in Gurgaon shouldn’t rattle, or door panels shouldn’t make a distinctly tinny sound on being closed in window rolled down condition. I feel Maruti lacks attention to detail for which I give manufacturers such as Honda and Toyota full points. Last but definitely not the least, a test drive vehicle should be in exemplary condition, since it is what a customer would base his/her opinion on.Read More
