All one would like to have is 'Service with a Smile and an Attitude to Serve'. I agree that running a restaurant is a heck of a challenge, else every 'Aaira Gaira Nathu' would be running one. Plus that is why the margins are good.
I agree that this place is cheaper than a Taj or an Oberoi, but t...hat does not mean that one has to take what they dish out to you. In fact, that is exactly what their attitude was, 'hey we know that you are trying to save a few bucks by coming here, so here, tolerate the s**t service that we dish out to you'. I am paying my 250/300 bucks and I would like my money's worth.
In fact staying with the same example, for my son's birthday party, I had to do one in Mumbai also. And believe me, I got a better place, better food, better service and all at a lower cost. And this at a great location at Bandra. So I DO NOT buy the argument that this is what we will get at this price.
I have also organized several parties, both personal and corporate. I have organized them at the Taj, Oberoi, the Leela and several other small places. However, never seen service like this. Hell, Shanti Sagar has better service than this.
And to my esteemed colleague who has conducted 20 parties here, all I would say is 'you have been either lucky to get the service or just have lowered your expectations'. I would suggest that you do 'just one party outside' of this place, and believe me you will never come back here.

Well, multiple reasons:
- the dates were getting filled up soon,
- we were out of town during the initial discussions.
- they were nice till we gave the deposit.

I read the reviews and was impressed by the place. The location is good as I wanted a place for celebrating my son's first birthday. I do not know where to start the whole sour experience that we had.
