My iPhone 5S battery is completely swollen and has ruptured the case, thereby rendering the phone completely inoperable. Apple isn't allowing me lodge a complaint. Thank God, I had seen that happen in front of my eyes and have immediately disconnected, otherwise I would have probably been in ...Read more

Reviewed Hitachi 1.5 Ton Logicool Split Air Conditioner RAU318KUDB

I am an avid customer of Hitachi Air conditioners. 2 of my 1.5 Tons Hitachi Window ACs that have been purchased 13 years back and another 2.0Ton Hitachi Atom Split UV purchased 10 years ago are functioning without any complaints. I had to sell 1 of my Hitachi Logicool 2.0 T AC 18 months back due...Read more

Dear Govey, if I had brought it abroad, then it might have been mighty cheap for me (as the price of the iPhone includes the price of the service providers rate plans through which they make a profit). It is like a cdma phone bought in India - please find that Blackberry Curve is provided by Tata D...ocomo at a price of Rs. 9999/- whereas the original price of the phone, if you purchase without the Tata subscription is Rs. 15999/-. iPhone internationally is sold like this. I could have jail-breaked it and use with any subscriber but this is not possible since there is a bug in the phone OS which does not allow this. Can you put a Reliance/Tata/BSNL/Uninor/Orange SIM Card in an iPhone. No it is never possible and I haven't found anyone who has done this. This could not be done. So in order to enjoy the benefits of the iPhone I am (read every Indian) is forced to buy it from the service providers who sells it. This is also not Legal.Read More

Dear Mr. Sudip Maitra, In reply to your letter, I must say that NO, Apple will not honour the service warranty that came with your phone. In India, iPhone service is provided by the Service Providers to which you have subscribed. In other words, service will be provided if the phone is brought from... the service providers outlet only. As your phone was purchased in England, it is a jail-breaked phone for which no warranty is provided neither by the Service providers nor by Apple. You will have to service your phone from some third-party risking the phone itself.Read More

Dear Manujarch. Real friends are very hard to get nowadays. Don't turn them into foes(just joking).

I fully agree with you. The reviewers in various AV magazines and electronic magazines are heads over heels with this phone. The ratings that they give is overwhelming but this is only so that they do not have to live with the phone for a long time unlike us consumers who really face the problems wi...th the phone. Usage of the phone for a few weeks do not reveal the inherent faults with the phone. Hell with iPhone.Read More

When Apple launched iPhone in India, I was the 12th customer at the Airtel Outlet in Kolkata to buy the new phone on the day of launch in India. I was elated at that time to have the possibly best and latest mobile phone of the market. That was in August 2008. The phone worked fine till April 20...Read more

Excellent car, fantastic handling compared to other C- segment cars, delightful chassis, very good steering feedback, road hugging good but pitches alittle on bends at speed, but horrible showroom persons, absolutely disgusting service, extremely expensive maintainance, illiterate service personnels... changing parts which are not to be changed, taking people for a ride when they arrive at the service centres, frighteningly low resale value, non-chalent ford management who are least interested in listening to you. My suggestion: own this car if you love cars & driving but with the first onset of trouble sell it because then 'frustation' is the only word waiting for you. I love the car, not the persons associated with it. Read More
