Hi, This is 'Value for money' car and doesn't satisfy if you have high expectations. But it is comfortable in the driver's seat and doesn't get hot. Atleast for me...Cheers

Hi vivekanada, A good and honest review, as promised. The rattling might be an individual problem, because i drove my car at about 100kmph on East Coast Road(heavy breeze) and there was no rattling. I was extra careful with the stability, may be because i used to drive an esteem earlier and it was ...so low. With the high stance of the EECO, this feeling is surely there. My approx mileage without AC was 13kmpl. Reg. the rattling noise, you better check with the maruti service engineers. Best of luck!Read More

Thank you vigsom. I am beginning to enjoy the EECO. Hi sudeepbr, As reg. the power steering, i feel the lack of it only while parking. Otherwise, it doesn't affect driving in the city as far as i am concerned. I suggest that you test drive the vehicle and feel it for yourselves. As I have said... in my review, this is good vehicle if your budget is limited. If you can stretch it upto 7 lacs you will get a xylo. As far as ghats are concerned, unless you are living in a hilly region, it should not be an issue. I haven't done any ghat stretches on my EECO but you can check with docel who has commented on this page. AC is good till the last row if it is kept on 2.Read More

Hi Anand, Overall, the EECO is quite good. However, I felt that it behaves less like a car and more like a van(omni) on the road. Due to its high stance you need to get used to it unlike any other car. Today, i drove about 200 kms on the highway and there was no heating problem under the seat. Sp...eed is good, I crossed 100 kmph but did not go beyond it. Didn't have any problems with overtaking, etc and felt the pick-up was good. But, i feel for sure that this is a vehicle where you SHOULD NOT try any stunt, because the ground clearance is bit high and that can topple the vehicle if not handled properly. It is good commuter vehicle for large families, period.Read More

Thanks for the comment. I am not an auto expert, and have just posted my personal experience on my car so that it may be useful for anyone looking at this car. As I said, EECO is spacious and has a good AC. That, I would say is the USP of Eeco.

Having a family of 6 members, we were in great dilemna in choosing a car that would take us everywhere, and fit into a modest budget. We were about to buy a 10-year old Qualis for 3.5 lacs before I saw the EECO. Here was a brand new car from the reliable Maruti ( we had a esteem for 8 years),...Read more
