I recently got my FIAT Palio 1.1 SLX.Yet to get my first service done but have done over 1200 kms over the past 2 weeks.Honestly saying,this is a car one would want for the money they pay.Other terms,its a Value for Money car.Talking about the Pros:
1)Solid body and good safety.
2)Very smooth dr...ive
3)Has the looks and performance of a high end Sedan
4)Good leg room and boot space
5)Good fuel economy(easily 15kmpl on an average including both city and highway driving)
6)Good at handling and can easily touch 120+ speeds on a highway(still a steady drive without any vibrations or sounds from the engine)
7)Good AC and feather touch power steering
8)Defnitely a head turner in the city
9)Attractive pricing compared to other cars in the same segment
10)Nice head lamps(Gives the car a different and gr8 looks altogether)
Cons:
1)Very less turning radius(Everytime you try to park the car(parallel parking),you feel you could cut the car a bit more that would make parking easy)
2)Slightly lacks the pickup on highways(I'd say its absolutely OK in the cities-atleast in Bangalore where you frequently end up in a bumper to bumper traffic)
3)Braking-->one should get used to it soon or else you are gonna end up in a collision.It does not have a spot on breaking which we would see in most of the cars these days.If you apply brake fully,the vehicle stops suddenly and in other case,it just slows down but will keep rolling.Read More

Thanks for your reply and time.Infact,I already own a TATA Indica for the past 3 years.I just got bored driving a diesel car after using it.;-)...ofcors,there are many options in diesel variants now with 2.0L and multi Jet engines,but again i'll have to shell out some 7L + for gett...ing the pleasure of driving a good diesel engine...Thanx for ur information abt K&N air filters...i'll defnitely try that option..but all am wondering is if that would reduce my fuel efficiency...can you pls let me know abt that as well since am a bit fuel centric person;-))(Already staying in Bangalore,I pay 52INR per litre and the news is that from next month petrol prices would be hiked for another 4Rs..)Thank you in advance.Read More
