'Cause its written in the manual. And they (the Honda people) tell you specifically not to put high octane fuel.

CRDi engines definitely is the next gen deisel engine. Much better than the TURBO counterparts but there's a difference in the engine of an Accent CRDI and a BMW or even an Octavia for that matter. I think I was turned off because I got my hopes up hearing it was every bit as good as a petrol engine... which it is not; at least in Accent. VTEC is sure the best. Too bad Honda discontinued it in such a short span.Read More
