Jus in case u didnt buy todays NST: New Straits Times 2007/05/07 www.nst.com.my/Current_News/ NST/Monday/Frontpage/ 20070507072634/Article Datuk wanted in RM308m fraud case KUALA LUMPUR: Businessman Datuk Vijayeswaran S. Vijayaratnam, who was arrested in Jakarta last week, is wanted ...in connection with a US$90 million (RM308m) fraud case in the Philippines. Indonesian police are co-ordinating with their Filipino counterparts to extradite him to Quezon City where a warrant of arrest has been issued against him for a nine-year-old case. The warrant is for fraud and conspiracy, according to the Interpol website. The 46-year-old is the group managing director of QI Limited, which is based in Hong Kong with branches in 30 countries from Australia to Brazil. Its regional office in Malaysia is in Petaling Jaya. According to sources close to Vijayeswaran, the businessman had ventured into a business deal in the Philippines in 1998, but it turned sour. His Filipino partners allegedly filed a civil suit against him. This was eventually converted into a criminal case. It is learnt that there is no bail for the charges. At press time, his lawyers and senior company officials, who are in Jakarta, were fighting moves to extradite him. Vijayeswaran, who was awarded a Datukship from Pahang, was posted on Interpol’s wanted list on April 2 under the 'red notice'. The 'red notice' circulates the warrant worldwide with the request that the wanted person be arrested for the purpose of extradition. On Thursday night, Vijayeswaran was picked up by police in Jakarta, along with three senior personnel of QI Limited, at a five-star hotel. The three were identified as Joseph Bismark, Donna Marie Imson and Tagumpay Kintanar, all from the Philippines. Read More

www.thejakartapost.com/ yesterdaydetail.asp?fileid=20070505.C04 City News - May 05, 2007 The Jakarta Post, Jakarta Police have arrested four people believed to be the operators of GoldQuest, a pyramid scheme that sells gold coins, following a red notice from Interpol. Jakarta Police ...chief Insp. Gen. Adang Firman told reporters on Friday the suspects, Malaysian and Philippine citizens, were also accused of misrepresenting former president Abdurrahman Wahid, better known as Gus Dur. 'We have arrested four of them, all expatriates, after Interpol contacted us,' Adang said, adding that they were being sought by police in their home countries. Those arrested were the company's chief executive Vijayeswaran Vijaratnam, director Joseph Bismark, and two other senior executives, Donna Marie Imson and Tagumpay Kintanar. The four were arrested Thursday night at the Jakarta Convention Center in Senayan, South Jakarta, where the company was participating in an international conference. The daily newspaper Tempo reported Friday that Gus Dur and other 48 people had previously filed reports to the police about the company. Gus Dur's lawyer, Ikhsan Abdullah, said the company had used pictures of both Gus Dur and late Nahdlatul Ulama founder Hasyim Asy'ari in its promotional material without Gus Dur's consent. Hasyim was Gus Dur's grandfather. 'Gus Dur never gave any permission to them (to use the photos),' he said. 'It's also fraud because the company has deceived the public. They're selling coins for far more than their real price,' Ikhsan said after a meeting with police officers to discuss the case Friday. Read More

I have a few GoldQuest friends who used to call me a fool, but they seem quiet these days. They don't like the taste of the 'pudding' and switch to other 'business'. Anyway I can't stop you from eating if you like the 'pudding'.

ok i give up.. i have no proof that eventually all the pigs died and they go to heaven, :) Since 'All Characters in this story are ENTIRELY FACTUAL & any resemblance to known characters is TOTALLY INTENTIONAL !!!' then it is clear that ONLY the 1st pig goes to heaven. Salut QuestNet!

... eventually all the pigs died and they all go to heaven, :) i agree with sharath (entermydreams), quest is good for u if u are doing well i have a colleague, like the 1st pig quickly answered the heavenly calling. 'no risk no gain' ... 'if you fail.. that is your mistake ... you are not wo...rking hard enough' that was what he said. i can see he was working extra hard, literally begging colleagues, friends and relatives to join him to heaven. the result: after many months of hard work he is still 'Rolling In Dirt'. so whose mistake was that? he was working extra hard. but his colleagues, friends and relatives are like the 3rd pig keep on asking questions abt heaven. no success guaranteed despite hard work. anyway congrat for all who enjoyed Eternal Bliss.Read More

i’ll buy from the local grocer because the hotel’s pricing is 400% more expensive. but let say if you are working for the hotel, will you tell the hotel guests that your pricing is 400% higher than the local grocer? not likely, unless you don’t want people to buy your product. so never expect a ...seller to admit that his pricing is too expensive. on the other hand, if I’m the hotel guest there is no point for me to complaint to the hotel management about the high price. why argue, I rather walk to the local grocer and buy 4 bottles instead of one, with Rs50. or else I’ll just collect rain water from the hotel balcony – raw material cost = Rs0. Ok! Ok! no need to argue so much MouthShut = Shut our mouth = no argueRead More

i agree! a finished product definitely could not be sold at the same cost of its raw material. so if a local grocer sells a bottle of mineral water for Rs12 while a five star hotel is selling at Rs50 plus, which is considered the correct market price? if its Rs12 then the hotel's price is overprice...d by Rs38 plus. if its Rs50 plus then the local grocer's price is underpriced by Rs38 plus. if you are given a choice, which will you buy?Read More

'GoldQuest International' is an international company. Why are you stopping others from commenting its international operation? Are you trying to downgrade its international status to local status?

Have anyone bought the 2006 Doha Asian Games Set? If you go to www.quest.net they are selling it at USD540. The set consists of one Lenticular Coin (2.00 oz. fine silver 999, 20 Riyal denomination) and one gold ingot (2.00 g fine gold 999.9). Try clicking the gold ingot image… you’ll see this wordin...g: “PERTH MINT AUSTRALIA” Hmmm? That is interesting!! Try going to “PERTH MINT AUSTRALIA” website at www.perthmint.com.au Go to SHOP -> Gold bars section, gold ingot of 2.5g fine gold 999.9 costs USD70.84. Next try the Asian Games Doha 2006 section. Perth Mint is selling different coin version (1.00 oz. fine silver 999, 10 Riyal denomination) at USD66.53. True, QuestNet may claim their set is special edition… however this price comparison should be able to give you the real value of the product Read More

Have you tried this? Tell your friends that you bought a product much expensive than the market price. Your friends will laugh at you branding you a stupid and foolish guy. If you do not want this to happen to you, please don't sell overpriced product to your friends!

check this article (www.mlmwatchdog.com/ Archives2002_1.html) under the title www.goldquest.com pryamid scheme: 27 Mar 2002 - Let's see, Gold Quest out of Hong Kong is selling numismatic rare special design pieces around precious metal. So does Franklin Mint in the US. Ever try to sell a F...ranklin Mint special edition anything? Wait 60 years and it may be worth something! GoldQuest is still using a Binary and issuing VOUCHERS, so we know they are not operating legally in Taiwan..... Since Singapore has starting cracking down on Binaries and vouchers --- GQ is probably not booming there. Their pitch on their website today is: 'Don't just stare in awe at the screen. Grab this chance to hold and have your very own collection of numismatic legends before they vanish.' Read More
