Hi Kumar, Are you having a CRDI or petrol Version? And how many Kms have you been clocked. Have the dealer shown you the testing methods due to the failure of your car ECU. The one you have mentioned is not MCU it is ECU (I.e.: Engine Control Unit) same as the Mother Board in the computer. ... ECU is a type of Electronic Control Unit that determines the amount of fuel, ignition timing and other parameters an internal combustion engine needs to keep running. Without this ECU the Car will not start or Run. There are some causes due to the failure of ECU. Water Damage, Misfire, excess fuel consumption, Engine management light on, Engine tuning off on its own, immobilizer problems. In any case if you are doing a welding in the engine body the battery terminals should be disconnected, other wise the Electronic components in the ECU will be blown off. Instead of changing a new ECU the old one can be rectified by changing the components inside, because dealer does not do the same. Since it is three years old unguaranteed vehicle you can get the ECU Removed from the company dealer and get the job done in private electronic shops and get it fixed. Be alert from changing parts while you are servicing a car or ask those Questions about the fault, in some dealers they do not have modern technical fault finding machines, ECU Testing Machines or Engine scanners to rectify the faults. They need to say some bluffing answers to convenience the customers. I also own a Verna CRDI SX VGT Thank you for your review. Darwin Electrical Superintendent, Nigeria. Read More

How many years old vehicle is your Honda CRV. Is your allow wheel have 17 inch with 10 spokes. The cost o...f the alloy wheel for one Nos is 685 US Dollars inclusive Vat. You can purchase through On line in either alloy wheel manu facture company inside India or out side India. They will charge Only for Shipping and VAT. The company is charging you 3500 dollars How is it possible. They are charging for 1 No or else for 5 Nos. Dont Trust the company They will charge you more. Yo can do this work done in a private cabs who will do you a good job. All alloy wheels which comes within the car has a 1 year warranty. This covers faults in the wheel which is caused by manufacturing problems. If you have a warranty claim you can claim it to free of charge. Thanks. DarwinRead More
