Hi Mel The price you are getting is really good, where you are getting it for that much from. I am in mumbai and want to buy the same system, we can bulk buy and get a better price perhaps. If you have already bought, let me know how you like the system and what price from where you bought etc.

One cannot compare this system with bose. the cheapest thing at bose comes around 45K. You can buy 10+ pcs at that price. But its a decent system for lesser mortals.

@Agm_105: Yes, the panel border is glossy and does reflect light. The screen doesnt reflect. however it never distracted me, I didnt even notice until you ask me. I had to actually go see my telly to confirm your query. I am quite happy with the quality of the TV and recommend it. It can connect to ...a HDD to play media files(videos, music, pictures) or double as a laptop screen. huge features, do check if any other TV gives you that. I only wish it was capable of playing mkv files.Read More

Thanks, The space in the rear isnt less. I had 4 slim people sit in the backseat yesterday. The USB player is capable of playing NTFS formats also (amazingly, i believe the credit goes to microsoft who jointly developed Blue&Me). Deepak: I connected using VGA Cable only as its convenient .. to cater to your problem of distance you can either buy wireless Keyboard and Mice (Logitech offers good solution), or you can plug in multiple VGA Cables together to make it long (using male to female connectors). Using a wireless keyboa...rd and mice would be a better and clean option.. just keep your laptop under the TV and use the TV screen. KS18 : how good are plasmas in energy consumption? I think they gobble more than twice what LCD does and the picture quality is as good as an LCD of present day quality. I will like to hear your review in that regard.Read More

Yes, It plays Divx. it has played every format that I have fed to it till date. I am not sure about the Mpeg4 format as never tested, But I am optimistic about it.

Thanks very much.. With more research around my locality I could find it at a local shop here (Rahi Electronics) in Goregaon for Rs 2750/-.. The price is wonderful, and the piece looks great. I must say that the Vijay Sales and E-Zone guys are looting people with extra-huge pricing.
