Are you commenting about performance or build quality? Paint is not part of performance, it is part of build quality. The vehicle paint is indeed affected by exposure to elements. I dont think this is the dealer's fault. Do you really expect Honda to back you up with free repairs and replacement during the warranty period if you get your car serviced or repaired at an un-authorized workshop? Why will Honda guarantee that service or repair if something were to go wrong? Y...ou don't skimp on regular, manufacturer-recommended services during warranty. Else dont expect them to back you up if there is a failure. The regular 6000 km service entails just oil change, filter change and drain plug change along with labor. It should cost you about 3000. So about 6000 per year. Yet you crib about periodic maintenance, but expect reliable performance? Please check my own experience with this car. Never ever skipped on periodic maintenance. Never serviced at un-authorized workshop. I get my peace of mind with this. It's your choice after all.Read More

I suggest you ask for replacement if this is still under manufacturer's warranty. If you dont get a response, suggest you file a grievance with the National Consumer Helpline. File a complaint with National Consumer Helpline. You can do that online. Final resort is consumer courts (even they are online now).

Since my last review of SX4, I bought a Honda City S iVTec in 2010. I am extremely satisfied with this super reliable, fun-to-drive car that has all the safety features I needed back then. The car has sharp handling, adequate space for 5 adults, comfortable seats, and decent mileage. I love the hig...h speed stability and handling of this car - feel absolutely confident and in control even at speeds above 120 Km/hr. Honda Serivice: I have had my car serviced only at Honda authorized service centers, and rarely had any problems or issues. I myself take the car for service - specify exactly what I want in service (don't go by service advisor's recommendation or sales pitch), and verify everything after the job is done. I have experienced both Arya Honda and Apex Honda in service. Arya Honda is slightly better in terms of service quality, while Apex Honda has a better body and paint shop. Their painting and denting quality is way better than Arya Honda. My next car will be a crossover for sure - I still my RAV4! And now Indian market offers many options in crossover segment. I hope that Honda launches the Vezel (HR-B?) in India soon.Read More

6 months on... I have completed almost 6 months of subscription, and my subscription is due for renewal. Some experiences so far: After about a couple of months, I received a call saying that I need to pay Rs.300 more else my DTH account will be debited Rs.300. After some calls to customer sup...port etc, I found that that apparently, the installation team had used a metre or so more of the cable than a 'standard' installation. I was annoyed. I told them why was I not informed at that time itself? Fortunately, I had the cell phone of the guy who did the installation (read my review) and called him up. I said this was unprofessional. After some haggling, he came to my place and updated the subscription with another voucher of Rs.300. That settled the matter. Have had no issues with the service since then. STB feedback: 1. STB is buggy. We keep the mains on throughout - no the box itself. Many a times it simply hangs - does not respond to input from remote or the sound output stops 2. If you have parental lock on for a channel, and you switch on the STB with that channel as the last viewed channel, the locking sticks - basically even if you switch channels, it keeps showing password prompt. 3. As with Microsoft windows, all you need to do is reboot :-) to fix the problem. I have noticed that some channels have better image quality than others - e.g. Discover/NatGeo seem to have better image quality. The online account information, viewed on your TV, is rarely updated, and is almost always out of date. Basically a nice feature that becomes useless due to inaccurate data - what good is viewing account information if the information is never updated? Monsoons will hit Mumbai in a couple of weeks from now. That will be a good time to test reception quality.Read More
