Sad to see this forum in the hands of rude moderators. I don't know what they are thinking, but it seems they want to make membership difficult so that they get a nice ego boost and feel exclusive. C'mon it is an internet forum. I am member of many better known forums related to my interests and...Read more

I chucked my iPhone (becasue it was no good as a phone, no matter how great it was in other aspects) and bought E51. I am extremely happy with it. Actually, it is such a nice pack of features disguised in such an understated form.
It works very well as a phone, good battery life (about 2-3 da...Read more

Yes, Actually I have a .com registered with Yahoo US. It shows $34 as renewal fee whereas for first year it was $9.99. I fail to understand why the renewal should cost so much. You know what I am gong to do: Bye, Bye, Yahoo !

Yes, folks - thanks for your comments. When several call center complaints yielded no results, I started calling some folks listed on this page: http://www.bangaloretelecom.com/senior.htm , but was unsuccessful in getting to talk to someone. Then I wrote to the PGM - got no reply, but someone from ...BSNL called back a couple of times to check if everything was alright - but by then, I had got the job done by using 'influence' :) May be the e-mail to PGM worked. Mayunk also seems to have got results writing to GM. So, escalation seems to work !
As for other products, I did evaluate Airtel when I wanted a second connection. I wasn't convinced that thei product was better, after speaking to their representative and a couple of my friends who were already Airtel customers. But I am told their service is very responsive. However, I went for speed/price and bought dataone. Only if BSNL improved on their service dept. !Read More

DataOne is good, when it works, that is. However, if it goes down and if you need help, it is a really frustrating experience. I have called their toll free number at least 30-40 times in the last 2 months. (but got to speak to someone, may be 10 times) Here is my experience:
