Small towns like Sathy, Gobi and Bhavani the shops around the Bus stand area who are selling soft drink and snacks, never sell the items for the MRP.
If you questioned them you will get insulted or you have to hear some stupid stories like,
'I am getting the item for MRP so I added my profit' or
'the extra charge is charge for the cooling' or
'I am paying more rent for the shop' or
'look at you, you looks like educated person wearing pant and shirt, dont argue for 2,3 rupees', or
'If you want to buy then buy otherwise get out from my shop, dont waste my time', or
'I am not selling this for you'.
So Be Careful!
There is no respect for the customers! No consumer awareness!
Don't buy anything from this kind of shops.
I don't know which government body is controlling the prices, and who is monitoring these kind of shops?
If I have any dispute like this to whom should I complain?
The shop keepers never issue receipts.
