i bought a PRESTIGE induction cooktop from Big Bazar, 22 Godhaam, jaipur. I barely used it...very carefully after reading all the instructions and it made an explosive sound and stopped working. then I read up on Mouthshut.com about it and found there were many like me. I should have checked up on mouthshut before buying. only PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOKTOPS are BAD. other brands are working well and no complaints. I have been asking the service center to repair or replace as I have all the guarantee papers...but no one has helped me till now. I have even written to the manager based in new delhi. I got a reply but my cooktop is lying unattended. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. a lot of people are suffering the loss. PRESTIGE is crooking the consumers by gifting a non.stick set of cooking vessels which are of good quality. dont fall for this trick.
