better usage of digital cameras

By: kanthinath | Posted Jul 26, 2008 | General | 286 Views

dear friends,

well what I am going to write is about digital camera and a tips of making maximum good use of your camera and get better results.there is lot of misunderstood thoughts and ideas about the information given in camera specifications.ex. we all know that many of the digital cameras of today have iso setting.this setting helps you take pictures on low light.we often see people writing that even though they set iso higher they still get a blurred picture.the reason for this could be even with a higher setting indoors if the light is still not sufficient or the camera is set to zoom the camera may still fire on a speed which is not enough for hand held shooting.some cameras give indications of the shutter and the aperture its going to use. if the speeds are 1/30 or below you cant get a steady handheld picture.this is one example.

now as in 35mm cameras fast films produce what is known as grains in the photos taken.though these films are good for indoor use and low light conditions.this is similar to what we call noise in digital images.higher ISO produces more noise.fortunately we are lucky with digital photos that we have software to correct these images and remove the grains or noise.

ideally its best to use flash whenever you have to take pictures on low light conditions unless you want to create an effect or produce creative photos.

to conclude unless you understand and make use of the options provided by the camera makers rightly you may end up most probably with bad pictures.

happy clicking
