The founder of Moon Express, Naveen Jain has said his start-up is willing to work together with Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX to make it possible
While Moon Express hopes to mine our satellites for materials like platinum-group metals, rare earth metals, and helium-3 moon rocks the company also seems interested in delving into the mission of getting humans to the moon.
Naveen says that within the next ten years the cost of getting humans to the moon could become as cheap as$10,000 which amounts to approximately Rs 6lakh
He supported his number with the fact that first mission to the moon cost$25 billion and if we were to go to the moon next year it would cost around$7 million
"I believe in the next 10 years, there is going to be a gentleman on their knees asking their sweetheart to say honey will you go to the moon with me for honeymoon," Jain said
