I took my wife to his clinic for Orthodontic treatment. He himself is not an orthodontist doctor, but he told me that one more doctor is coming there (Chisel Dental Clinic) and she will do the treatment .I asked about the cost of the treatment. He told 24K for Metal treatment. I have given 10k advance and rest of the money he will get in installment .Every month he told I have to pay him 2K. Also told me 8 months would be the treatment time.
He didn’t tell me that , he will be charging extra RS 800 for each teeth extraction and cleaning of tooth at beginning of the treatment. After 4th month of the treatment, he asked me to pay Rs 3200 extra excluding 24k. I didn’t have option, I paid him. The orthodontist who was coming to his clinic (Chisel Dental Clinic) stopped coming after 10months of the treatment. Then I asked Dr. Sumanth M Shetty how to complete the treatment, by that time I have paid him 33K and still my wife’s treatment was not over ,there was huge gap between extracted teeth .. Mr. Sumanth M Shetty told me that your wife’s treatment is over.To fill the gap between the teeth she has to were four Ceramic Crown and its cost would be 12K ,otherwise gap will remain..
So friends, At the beginning of the treatment I was told by Dr. Sumanth M Shetty the cost of the treatment is 24K and I have paid 33k in within 10 months again he asked me to pay 12K more for Ceramic Crown .That means for Metal Orthodontic treatment cost is 45K.It’s really ridiculous. I checked this with one of my school mate who is a dentist at my hometown. He told Dr. Sumanth M Shetty is a big thief, And advice not to go there hence forth.
Friends this not just my story ,one more lady was coming to that Chisel Dental Clinic and Dr. Sumanth told her the cost of treatment would 24K and she paid 38K to complete the treatment.
Please don’t go there for treatment. Dr. Sumanth M Shetty is the biggest cheater Doctor I have seen in my life.
