When I met a Terrorist...

By: nidhi1 | Posted Aug 27, 2009 | Fiction | 645 Views | (Updated Aug 27, 2009 05:14 PM)

It was that time of the Day when everthing looked gay and happy.. when kids returned back to home from play grounds, when people rushed towards their home after a hectic day at office, when housewives are done with their gossiping sessions, cooking and are all set to don the role of a lover and a giver..

Yes.. it is that time of the Day when the family comes together after completing their daily chores..

During one such blissful evening, we all were watching TV. As usual, there was a terrorist on the TV. The media has outdone themselves this time by being able to cover the terrorist's activities LIVE... It was flashing on the screen.. in big bold letters...

"Enjoy Terrorism from your home... We bring you LIVE telecast of the events..."

A terrorist was running and the police was chasing him. This was shocking enough to see that the terrorist is passing down a familiar lane... There is a park which looks like just the one at the corner of our home... what?? The terrorist was here.. just round the corner..

Our pulses started racing and we all increased the volume of the TV so that we can get maximum out of this event.. One of its kind.. may be we might not witness such thing ever in the future...

The feel was over after some time.. We all went away to sleep.. I was sitting in my Study thinking deep about that terrorist.. The way he was running.. it was nothing different from the way we run.. or probably like the atheletes.. whatever.. he was running and we saw him live..

I heard a voice in the closet.. I opened it and saw that there was that terrorist... He was all sweaty and breathless... My eyes were wide open.. I was afraid.. and then that terrorist came out.. He looked like a small kid.. A very small kid who doesn't even know what is right and what is wrong.. He kept on uttering some words like someone taught him all that...

Why the Police was trying to kill him then??... He was a kid who was running for his life.. who was doing something which he was taught..

Is the only solution lies in killing him, telecasting him and questioning him...??

Can there be a solution lik.. re-teaching him... if there is any such word in english, that is..

......and then I woke up...

:)
