What’s your character?

By: cutelavanya85 | Posted Jan 17, 2014 | General | 436 Views

There is a saying by Mark Twain “A man's character may be learned from the adjectives which he habitually uses in conversation.” So if we say the same thing in simple language the saying means whatever we talk, in any language or style that represents our character. Character I suppose is a mix of few things or habits which we pursue in our lives. They can be:

Our behaviour with others

Our actions

Our communication

Our way of looking at things

If I am not wrong, the current generation who in this context would be the college going kids or even the kids who are in schools. Hyderabad caters many languages and one of most famous one is the ‘Hyderabadi Street Language’. What is this? Well this is the very famous ‘tapori lingo’ which has become so common that 90% of the people use it for their day to day communication. So here my question is how do we categorize them? They are the people who have forgotten their ethics of talking to elders or seniors. They whole idea of being ‘Cool’ has taken a toll over the next gen kids. Which has loosened their grip over manners n civilised conversations.

We loose the old charm of talking sophisticatedly and move towards being rowdy and harsh. Why can’t we have our characters in place with proper way of living and communication? I am sure we all would love to be loved and that too with grace and dignity intact. Think over it and start coming up with a change in you from today.
