Today I am in 35th week of my pregnancy. To familiarise you with my medical history, I have a unicornuate uterus which is believed to be found in 1 out of 3000 ladies across the globe. I was 28 and my doctor told me that with this kind of uterus I have very less chance of having baby.
I had the risk of miscarriage, even at 6th or 7th month of my pregnancy. The chances of pre-term delivery was very high, as the cervix is not believed to be strong in this case. And the chances of a live birth is also 50%.
I got scared, but on encouragement, I conceived naturally. And today I have successfully completed 34th week. I want to tell all ladies with other kind of utrine line deformities, not to loose hope, if I can, you can also.
ofcourse, it needs a lot of sacrifice and strong will power. I left my job at 6th month of pregnancy. But when I see Dr. saying that my baby is perfectly out of danger now, I feel so relived. I am due on 22nd June.
