WHEN YOU NO LONGER REALLY CARE
When you no longer really care
You cease to exist.
When a nation no longer cares
It moves towards extinction.
When peoples no longer care
It spells the death of civilization.
None is destroyed from without;
All destruction begins from within.
Be it man, nations or peoples,
Our apathy spells our doom.
We are our worst enemies,
Laying waste monuments of excellence.
Great nations of hoary traditions
Are beggars of the present day!
Greece of Homer, Euripides and Sophocles
Struggles without a glorious identity.
Powerful nations now have joined the race;
How low the mighty helplessly lie!
History is ever a painful reminder
Of eminence reduced to just a memory.
Unless nations and peoples awaken to realize
The value of time-honored values of yore –
Of hard work, traditions and spirituality,
Recovery of lost ground will be an Eldorado!
