VOILENCE / NON VOILENCE
For the last few days news of violence has come
1. Anna’s supports manhandled a young man during election compaign
2. Prashant Bhushan beaten in his chamber
3. Anna’s supports beaten in front of Patiala house courts.
At the outset we condemn the violence in any form from whatsoever direction it may be. Patience & good sense should not be lost
1 . If a question has been asked by a young man it should have been replied in proper manner instead of pushing or manhandling.
2. Beating of Prashant Bhushan.He has been beaten in his chamber for his alleged remarks on Kashmir. These are his views. He should be confronted by other means. Are separatists not making so many statements? Still they are being protected by Gov’t at our cost. Should this cream of young blood of my country go to Kashmir? Should they start beating them? Let them try? Obviously this is not the solution.
3. Beating Of Anna’s supporters: Shameful. Now coining Ram Sena or Bhagat Singh Kranti Dal is disgrace to these respectable personalities. Such was not their character. Young blood should not lose their heads. They should divert their energy to transform the country.
4. This action on their part only smacks that they have been exploited by some other scrupulous elements , may be from Congress presently on receiving end, to create dissensions & chared atmosphere in the country to divert the attention from other important topics such as corruption & bhrashtachar etc. I am afraid such actions should not take an ugly turn & create a violent atmosphere to divide the nation to benefit only these corrupt politicians & create further miseries to poor people. Then the result will be, sooner or later, a bloody revolution – not a good proposition.
I appeal to young generation to cool down, think calmly, work constructively & not to play in the hands of these scrupulous politicians in national interest. May God bless them with good omen.
