Tubeless / tube type Tyre Care

By: munishverma | Posted May 12, 2009 | General | 365 Views

If you Planning to change tyre confused about which one to choose Read this.

First thing which you should think before geeting new shoes for your car

-->Are you using alloy rims or steel(stock rim)

I suggest dont go for tubeless tyres if your car is 3+ years Old.

Reason:-Due to rust/jerks/balancing rim develops minute holes with in it which causing loss of tyre pessure and you may end up changing rims which is again wasting for money.

So go for tubed if your doubt rims are rusty.

best cominations:-

1.alloy-tubeless

2.old steel rim-tubed

  1. new steel rims- tubeless/tubed

-> Tubeless tyres cost nearly 200-300 Rs.more than tubed

Lighter the wait for tubeless better the tyre is.

check following if you found tubeless flat:-

1)Maybe the wallpin wasnt seated properly?

2). When you pushed the air pump's nozzle in, the wallpin was seated properly and hence the air didnt leak out this time

3). The tubeless neck isnt seated properly. You would have probably moved it while filling air and that may have caused the air to stay in this time

4). The beading of the tubeless tyre wasnt seated properly on the rim(steel or alloy). When it deflated completely and you reinflated, it was then seated properly.
