HI all.
I have a hyundai santro which has an original korean engine. The vehicle is awesome and I usually use it during weekends for shopping.
I normally give for service every 6 months at an authorized dealer either at yeshwantpur or koramangala ring road. When I shifted to electronic city, I started giving the vehicle at Trident Hyundai, Hosur road.
The service quality is pathetic with no clear idea of root cause of problem. All they know is...replace..replace..replace. There is no concept of repair, how ever minor the fault is.
My car was having a rattling sound at the rear wheels and when I asked to check, they replaced bearings, then brake shoe, then some thing else and billed for more than 10K but the noise resurfaced after few hours. After complaining, they have asked me to bring back the vehicle again to their shop.
Now...I have to apply leave again, change some thing else (what about old changed parts...GOD knows), and still will not be sure if it will be solved.
Then I had little noise in steering column and they told the whole column to be replaced...and it costs 20K.
I have then decided never to go for Trident Hyundai Hosur road branch and started to give at Multi car service station who too does decent jobs.
And to my surprise....when a car is given for service at Trident hyundai, it will be done in 4-5 hours...now guys..tell me if it will be possible to check every part in 4-5 hours with lunch break and T breaks in between. This happens to any car who ever gives.. moral of story is they clean wheels, clean body, interiors, change oils and throw it back on us. They donot check genuinely for all the parts or faults.
So, please be careful with Trident Hyundai Hosur road branch before deciding on replacing any part. It may be perfectly working.
