Thoughts to sizzle up your Birthday
Start calling, smsing your friends and relatives at 12 the previous night asking them to wish you; they feel embarrassed yet amused
The first piece of cake that you already know will be smeared on either your or your friend’s face should be as small as possible, make it big if only you are sure, you can arm wrestle with your malevolent friend
Just be attentive for his quick trick of smearing the whole cake on your face…..ducking at the right time most important and make that nerd friend of yours stand right behind you
When you are sure a subsequent piece of cake is destined to tantalize your taste buds….bring it big
Mishap; your brother hid the cake in a corner of the fridge and you choose to defrost it while making your drink(this happens when they want to surprise you with a party at the strike of 12 midnight when your birthday starts)
Tell your not so near and dear ones the next day; you did not wish me on my birthday too bad. You gift lots of guilt pangs and save on unnecessary treats
Tell your vendor on phone who is asking for a long due payment; today is my birthday and you cannot call except for wishing me; you just bought some more days to pay
And never ask for gifts; because they come with a tag- “on returnable basis”
Pray that your birthday falls on a weekday. You don’t see people around haggling for treat, they threat you for coming weekend but people have short memory my friend
And don’t forget to take your loved ones for a party and when the bill arrives; exclaim, shit I forgot to bring my purse!!
Today is Kishore Kumar’s Birthday; so it’s just that!! Now don’t ask kishore who!! Or get ready for the punch….with or without cake!! Yes I mean it!!
