Trashy piece of plastic

I bought this recently for my bathroom and while I loved the smell, I was thoroughly disappointed with the poor way the product was designed. The first thing that the product team should have realized is that all bathrooms in India have tiles on the sidewalls--hence you need something really strong to hold the product firmly against the wall. But SC Johnson, the manufacturer, decided to save some money and use a poor quality double-sided tape for this instead. Result, ten minutes after I fixed it to the wall (and it appeared perfectly stable at the time), it falls to the ground. The tape side was safe and did not come in touch with water, so I put it back on the wall firmly. Ten minutes later, it comes crashing to the floor again, and this time the entire plastic cabinet breaks up. I don't know what kind of market this product is made for, but when I pay close to a 100 bucks for air freshener (when I could have paid 15 bucks for Odonil, I expect to have some bit of quality).

Worse, when I thought of writing to this company and checked out their Web site, they did not feel the need to post a contact no. or e-mail on their Contact Us page on the Web site. Maybe it is time for such fly-by-night American companies to stop outsourcing manufacturing to China (or have greater control over quality in China/India).
