My kid wanted a microwave oven toy and I've been looking all over Bangalore for it. Finally I found a kitchen set with a microwave at Kids Giggle ( http://www.kidsgiggle.com) HSR layout. Thinking that I would bring my wife along before buying it, I went back the next day.
For 1000rs we found the toy not big enough and decided to leave. On our way out the sales person came and invited as back again and said he could open and show it.
He opened it and showed the components. We got curious and looked at the pieces in it trying to figure out how big it would be.
The sales person kept on coming to us every 1 min asking "hope you are reasonably convinced".
The third time I told him I am buying it, so please don't keep asking us if we are convinced. On that his colleague who seemed to be pissed with us looking at it(probably he thought we opened it our self) also joined and said " we don't care if you buy or not"
"If I have already planned to buy it, why do you want to piss people off, I asked?"
On this he said "Your language is bad"
"The irritate part or the piss me off part?" I asked. On this I was irritated with their behavior. One they invited me inside, second they opened it themselves !
I was about to give out my card when 'I don't care if you buy or not' statement came out.
I walked out, along with a 15 years worth toys and apparels purchases I would have done if he was polite.
I bought another good toy for 3000 Rs from Hamleys Phoenix market city.
If only the Kids Giggle owner/sales person kept his mouth shut and his attitude at home. He lost one customer and numerous others I would be talking to.
Hamley's at Phoenix is a brilliant store. Kids would love going their (for Kidsgiggle owner - see they don't have an attitude here).
Little Boss at HSR Layout is also a very good store, have bought many apparels for my kids in the last 4 years.
