Third rate service by DISH TV

My belief that Dish TV service is third rated is further strengthened by my experience now which I am narrating below.


On 12th June I started getting very irratic signal therby all of sudden the picture used to vanish from the screen and their toll free number display advising me to call them up. I thought it was due to whether and waited for a day. Even after one day and when the whether and sky was clear, still the problem was persisting so I contacted them on their toll free number on 13th June at 8.20 PM. I was told that my problem is with the dish and they will send someone to set it right. However even after 2 day no one turned up neither I received any confirmation. the problem was continuing so I called some technician to look at Dish. He checked and done some adjustment and charged me Rs. 200 and the problem was solved.


I received a call from Dish TV representative only on 17th June from a local number in Pune 66320147 asking me what is the problem. I just blasted at her saying they are confirming the problem after 4 days. For which she said they received mail from their Noida office only then. I said it is their problem whe she received mail but I could not wait without TV for such a long time and got the problem fixed by paying.


Now I realised I will be paying in such expenses more than my cable bill of Rs. 200 per month. I am just waiting to finish my subscription period and then I will dis connect it forever.


I advise all who wish to get DISH TV, never ever go for it.
