There were times you asked me why I wrote, and I kept things to myself.
Not a word to signify how I felt.
And when it was time you knew - I had to tell you how I felt this something new.
I was scared and very shy, but also lonely - sad that it made me cry - made me wanna die!
But I live to see your smile, it calms and comforts me for a while...
Wanting just to hold you closer - too scared to touch, felt like I'd break you - petals of a - rose
